With the final episode of Gavin and Stacey fast approaching, lovers of the hit sitcom are getting ready to nurse a broken heart.
But there might be a way to ease the pain and live like a true Uncle Bryn superfan.
A house on the same street where the show was filmed has now come on the market.
Located in Barry, Wales, the two-bedroom terraced property on Trinity Street will set you back a very reasonable £171,500, as reported by Luxury Property News.
And it’s a bargain given that the average property price in the UK rose to a whopping £294,000 in August 2024.
As well as its TV connections, the house comes with two reception rooms and a garden.
The property is in a good condition but is overall a relatively blank canvas, giving the new owner a chance to make it their own.
The home’s description reads: “A mid-terraced three-bedroom traditional property situated in the sought after ‘West End’ of Barry and close to all amenities, shops, schools and public transport.
“The property benefits from UPVC double glazing, gas central heating via a combination boiler. Viewing is advised.”
Needless to say, Trinity Street is not the only must-see for Gavin and Stacey fans in Barry, and the town is also home to several other memorable locations from the show.
There is, of course, Island Leisure Amusement Arcade, home to Nessa’s slots, and Marco’s Café, which is featured in the very first episode.
Meanwhile, the village of Dinas Powys, home to Pam and Mick’s house, is just a short train ride away.
After a busy day of sightseeing, you could also enjoy a pint in Smithy’s local, The Colcot Arms, in Barry.
The final episode of Gavin and Stacey will air on Christmas Day.
