A penthouse described as “a palace in the sky” has hit the market after being kept secret for 13 years.
The home, which has been listed at a staggering £40million, sits in the clouds inside the world’s tallest building.

According to the listing, which is held by Asad Khan, CEO of Invest Dubai Real Estate, the home was originally reserved for a high-profile celebrity living in Dubai.

The penthouse currently sits unfurnished and is yet to be decorated, allowing endless possibilities.

UK-based design firm gt&i has showcased how the space could be used, as reported by Luxury Property News.
The results include designs of the main living area, bedrooms, a home office, bathroom, home cinema and even a children’s playroom.
Using cream and gold, the living area’s design features a marble floor, cream sofas and a winding staircase with a gold handrail.
The bedroom and the bathroom have more of a darker ambience, with warm mood lighting adding to the opulent atmosphere.
A modern stone bath sits by the window, while the bedroom also houses a jacuzzi overlooking the stunning views.
The AI-generated interior of the property also features an office with an elaborate bookcase.
After lying empty and unused for years, the property was purchased by entrepreneur Karl Haddad and his business partner in 2022.
Karl now believes that it is the perfect time to see the home which combines the utmost privacy and decadence.
