We all know the nativity story, but have you ever fancied living it?
A family is offering guests the chance to sleep over in a stable with a rather special visitor.
The unique stay is located on a family farm in the Lake District, and mercifully, it does not involve kipping on hay, as reported by Luxury Property News.

Instead, up to three people can sleep in stable bunkbeds, lined with Egyptian cotton, as you catch some Zs next to a Friesian horse or Shetland pony, who is separated by a room divider.
You can also take care of your unusual roommate, as The Friesian Experience provides haynets, a luxury grooming kit and food buckets.
As the human guest, you will also be well catered for.
The stay has its own kitchenette as well as an adjoining wet room complete with an eco-toilet.
And there are plenty of brilliant restaurant options in the nearby village of Cartmel, including the Michelin-star restaurant L’Enclume.
The farm is home to 17 horses in total and they can all be visited on a Meet the Horses tour or a carriage ride.
Other activities available nearby include walking routes, historic sites, and, of course, the Lake District National Park.
Prices for the unique stay begin at £350 per night.
While this one-of-a-kind horsey sleepover is already booked up for late December, there is availability in January.
