And a kitchen with timber effect vinyl wall coverings as well as an upright dual fuel stove and separate, walk-in pantry.
The house in the village of Godrergraig, near Port Talbot, south Wales had a guide price of just £54,000.
But after a bidding war between three parties it sold for twice that.
Its listing on sellers Paul Fosh Auctions described it as needing work.
It reads: “A substantial semi-detached property with stone and brick elevations to the front and fine views.
“The property has a recently installed multi fuel stove but requires further improvement offering excellent potential for either a homeowner or investor.
“The village benefits from a range of amenities and shops and is convenient for Ystayfera with its wide range of shops and transport links and good road links to the M4 and Swansea.”
On the ground floor of the house is the entrance hall, lounge and dining room and kitchen
Above that are the three bedrooms and bathroom.
It has gardens to the front and rear with a view from the back over the neighbouring forested countryside.
Average house prices in the village are £137,000.
The national average is £282,000, as reported by Luxury Property News.
