A flat with the “weirdest kitchen ever” has gone on the market for £105,000.
The property is located near Salford Quays and boasts a private balcony.
But house hunters were put off by the rather strange layout inside.

In lieu of a separate kitchen, the flat’s kitchen is plonked directly in the middle of a room.
It shares the room with the lounge, with a sofa, desk and chair set up nearby in the space.
Behind it is the separate bathroom, according to the floor plan.
The island-style cooking spot is described as an “integral kitchen” in the listing, reports Luxury Property News.
But the quirky set-up was mocked after pictures of the listing were shared online.
One person commented: “What a colossal waste of space. I’m angry someone had the nerve to design that.”
“I hate that these types of studio flats with the kitchen bathroom in a box in the middle of the space are becoming more common. They look like a weird prison cell,” another person said.
Someone else quipped: “I’ve seen bigger kitchens in caravans.”
Others dubbed it a “tragic little shoebox” and “space prison”.
Behind the island kitchen is the separate bathroom, beyond which is the bedroom – which includes a pull-down double bed next to the front door.
The listing, held by Thornley Groves for £105,000, describes the first-floor studio as a “stylish urban retreat” and a “prime rental property” for budding investors.
It continues: “The apartment boasts an open plan layout that seamlessly combines the living, dining, and bedroom areas.
“Its unique design revolves around a central pod, which houses the fully-equipped kitchen and a modern three-piece bathroom suite.
“Additionally, a walk-in wardrobe/storage area provides ample space for your belongings.”
