The former home of pop superstar Taylor Swift – where she reportedly worked on her chart-topping album 1989 – has hit the market for more than £6 million.
The secluded Beverly Hills estate also provided the backdrop for one of the singer’s most memorable interviews, when she welcomed Vogue cameras inside for its hugely popular 73 Questions series.
Swift bought the charming Californian hideaway in 2011, aged just 21, before selling it seven years later.

Now, following an extensive makeover by its subsequent owners, the four-bedroom property is looking for another buyer with deep pockets.
From pastel-coloured kitchens and enormous dressing rooms to a private sports court hidden among the trees, step inside the mansion with a remarkable pop music pedigree.

The Beverly Hills mansion where Taylor Swift worked on her blockbuster 1989 album and filmed her famous Vogue interview is looking for a new owner.
The former home of the pop superstar has hit the market for $7,995,000 (£6 million), listed by Drew and Dean Mandile of Sotheby’s International Realty – Beverly Hills Brokerage.
Known as the Pillsbury Estate, the picturesque property boasts four bedrooms, five full bathrooms and 4,360 square feet of accommodation, surrounded by secluded gardens.

Taylor was just 21 when she snapped up the gated estate for more than $3.5 million (£2.6 million). in 2011.
Already a Grammy-winning country sensation, she was looking for a West Coast base as her career continued to soar.
The white-clapboard house, with its dormer windows, winding paths and leafy gardens, offered a surprisingly rural escape in one of Los Angeles’ most exclusive neighbourhoods.

Behind these walls, Taylor reportedly worked on 1989, the 2014 album that transformed her from country sweetheart into global pop royalty.
Featuring hits including Shake It Off, Blank Space and Style, the record went on to win Album of the Year at the Grammys.
The home’s office was a particularly special space. When later owner Nicolas Bijan moved in, he discovered a piano there and was struck by its creative history.

Fans caught a rare glimpse inside Taylor’s private world in April 2016, when she opened her Beverly Hills home to Vogue for its famous 73 Questions video.
During the whirlwind tour, she revealed that Blank Space was her quickest song to write and confessed to keeping a VMA award in the kitchen.
Taylor eventually parted ways with the estate in 2018, reportedly selling it for $4 million (£3 million).
Its next owners were fashion entrepreneur Nicolas Bijan, heir to the luxury House of Bijan label, and his wife, interior designer Roxy Bijan.

The main kitchen has been given a sophisticated makeover, with powder-blue cabinets, gleaming marble worktops and an enormous central island.
Brass fixtures add a touch of old-school glamour, while open shelves display crockery and decorative pieces.
Beyond the kitchen is this gorgeous sunroom, where enormous windows and French doors frame the surrounding greenery.
With its glass-topped table, striped seating and overhead skylight, it feels more like an English countryside cottage than a Los Angeles mansion.

Forget squeezing clothes into a cramped cupboard, this mansion comes with floor-to-ceiling wardrobes and an illuminated shoe display.
The space was redesigned for Nicolas Bijan, whose family fashion empire is famous for its extraordinarily expensive menswear.
One of the mansion’s most eye-catching spaces is this delightfully feminine bathroom, complete with a pale pink clawfoot bathtub.
Floral Roman blinds, mint-green cabinetry and a blush velvet vanity chair give the room a charming vintage feel.

The separate guesthouse offers its own living area, kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities.
Its interiors feature soft furnishings, floral details and a cosy sitting area leading towards the bedroom.
This sunny bedroom is another example of the estate’s playful new interiors.
Butter-yellow walls and matching curtains provide the backdrop for a bed dressed in pink and white, while a blush-coloured sofa and fluffy rocking swan add a whimsical touch.
Despite its glamorous postcode, the Pillsbury Estate feels surprisingly secluded.
Brick steps wind up through a wooded hillside, while mature trees and lush planting help shield the property from the outside world.
According to the selling agents, deer are even frequent visitors to the grounds.
Anyone feeling competitive can head up into the trees, where a private sports court is hidden among the greenery.
The secluded court is now advertised for pickleball and other sporting activities, adding another unusual feature to the estate’s extensive grounds.
A lighted paddle-tennis court was already part of the property when Taylor purchased it in 2011.
It’s certainly a rather glamorous way to work up a sweat without leaving home.
The outdoor entertaining areas feature brick terraces, a barbecue, fountains and inviting places to relax beneath the trees.
But perhaps the most fascinating garden feature is one you might easily overlook.
According to the current owners, an olive tree planted for Taylor by her former boyfriend, DJ Calvin Harris, still grows on the estate.
