An oceanfront paradise personally redesigned by late Hollywood legend Diane Keaton has hit the market for $10.3million.
The four-bedroom Californian retreat was reportedly the Oscar winner’s final renovation project before her death.
Keaton bought the Laguna Beach property for $6.6million in 2021 before transforming it with her unmistakable black-and-white style.

She sold it for around $8million the following year, as reported by Luxury Property News.
Now, one year after the actress died aged 79, another buyer has the chance to live inside her coastal creation.

The 2,698sq ft home sits on 0.38 acres above the golden sands of Table Rock Beach.
Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure the Pacific Ocean takes centre stage, with panoramic views stretching across the kitchen, dining room, bedrooms and terraces.
Keaton’s striking monochrome design is apparent from the moment visitors enter.
Black-framed doors and windows contrast with bright white walls, while warm wood, statement lighting and carefully selected furniture soften the contemporary interior.

The open-plan kitchen features a huge central island with waterfall countertops and bar seating.
It flows into an airy dining space where a transparent glass barrier avoids interrupting the spectacular sea views.
A few steps below is a sunken living room with an imposing black-brick fireplace and doors leading directly onto an ocean-facing deck.

The primary bedroom boasts another fireplace and its own spacious private terrace overlooking the water.
Its ensuite bathroom continues the monochrome theme with black fittings, twin sinks and a large shower.
Outside, the future owner will find several seating and dining areas designed for making the most of the Californian sunshine.

There is also a built-in outdoor kitchen and barbecue for entertaining guests against the backdrop of the Pacific.
Estate agents describe the interiors as “sophisticated yet inviting”, with an effortless coastal style designed to complement the landscape.
The property is also just moments from Laguna Beach’s galleries, restaurants and coastal attractions.

Keaton was an acclaimed American actress whose career spanned more than five decades.
She won the Academy Award for best actress for her performance in the 1977 romantic comedy Annie Hall and also starred in The Godfather trilogy, Father of the Bride, The First Wives Club and Something’s Gotta Give.
Away from the screen, she developed a passion for architecture and restoring homes, documenting her distinctive design tastes in books including The House That Pinterest Built.

The Laguna Beach property is listed by Brooke Wainwright and David Koffs of LUXRE Realty.
