A man has built what he claims to be the “world’s smallest tiny home,” measuring just 19.46 square feet.
Levi Kelly, a 27-year-old from West Virginia, created the miniature property in an attempt to secure a Guinness World Record.
Despite its small size, the house includes everything a normal-sized home would: seating, a bed, kitchen, hot water, toilet, shower, and even air conditioning.

In a video shared on YouTube, which has already garnered 30,100 views, Levi explained how he managed to fit all the essentials into such a compact space.
“To keep it functional at this size, I added a folding bed and a moveable toilet,” he told Luxury Property News.
He also made a clever decision to place the shower outside, freeing up interior space. However, there is a height limit to sleep comfortably inside, as Levi noted, “You have to be shorter than 5ft 10in.”
The project cost Levi about £3,824 ($5,000). He started with a small trailer, added framing like a typical house, and used cedar cladding for the exterior.
To save space and reduce weight, he opted for 2×3-inch studs.
Inside, visitors are often surprised by how much he has managed to fit in. “Everyone who walks in says ‘wow’,”Levi shared, adding that while the house could potentially be lived in full-time, it’s unlikely anyone would actually want to.
Levi’s main goal for the tiny home is to use it on camping trips with his wife Savannah and their two children, aged three years and nine months.
However, he admits there are a few improvements he would make. “I’d change the fold-down bed and ventilation,” he said, pointing out the tight space around the bed and the lack of airflow, which causes hot air to get trapped.
He would also modify the bench to fold out into a second bed and upgrade the battery system and solar panels for better off-grid living.
Levi’s YouTube video shows him standing in front of the tiny home on wheels, explaining the construction process and its interior.
Viewers were quick to praise his ingenuity. One commenter, Dan, wrote, “Outstanding work at any price, but that $5k build total really puts it over the top!”
Others echoed the sentiment, with comments like, “This is so clever!! Well done,” and “Very inventive and well thought out. WOW, congratulations!”
Levi claims to have broken the world record for the smallest tiny home, and Jam Press has reached out to Guinness World Records for confirmation.
