A nearly century-old luxury mansion once owned by actor Colin Farrell has hit the market for $2.7 million (£2.1 million).
The four-bedroom property, named Treetop Lodge, was originally designed in 1927 in a Tudor style to evoke feelings of the English countryside.
It gives the look of a timbered cottage, with arched doorways and restored steel casement windows.

And while the home’s listing doesn’t mention S.W.A.T. star Farrell, the celebrity property website, Mansion Global, claims he lived in it around 2010, as reported by Luxury Property News.
The 48-year-old actor is Ireland born and bred, but research suggests he is now a local in an off-the-grid cabin in California’s Mammoth Lake area.
Treetop Lodge was reportedly purchased by Farrell for $1.19 in 2010 with his then-girlfriend Alicja Bachleda-Curus, shortly after she gave birth to their son.
The relationship broke up in around 2012.
The current owners, a music industry executive and his wife, purchased the home from the Irish actor in 2020 for $1.3 million, after he first listed it for $1.495 the prior year.
Inside, the 2,971 sq ft home is bathed in light thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows and arched doors.
Boasting four bedrooms and three bathrooms, the home has white-washed walls with a mix of rich woods and beamed ceilings.
Some of its grand features include a formal entry hall and a study alcove.
Additional highlights include a state of the art kitchen with navy cabinetry, marble counters and a vintage farmhouse sink.
The living room has a built-in TV, surrounded by book storage and hundreds of DVDs, so you can host a Farrell marathon, of course.
The primary suite bedroom also offers an open-brick fireplace and an en-suite bathroom with a spa bath and balcony.
Outside, the garden offers complete privacy with wrap-around foliage.
The property is minutes away from the Griffith Observatory and Universal Studios, as well as a 20-minute drive to Beverly Hills.
It features on The Agency and is up for sale with real estate agent Penelope Stipanovich.
