A pair of identical twin cottages have gone on the market together for £420,000 in a town where Kate Winslet reportedly owns a home.
The adorable thatched properties sit in a stunning patch of countryside just a stone’s throw from the ocean.
The matching homes each offer one bedroom, plus an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, and a bathroom.

Outside, they share a fenced garden, plus a shed.

Dating back to pre-1900, the quaint cottages were refurbished around 30 years ago with solidly constructed stone walls under a pitched roof that is felted and thatched.
The homes are on the Isle of Coll in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, as reported by Luxury Property News.
The island has a population of just 160-195 permanent residents – and A-list actress Kate Winslet is rumoured to have bought a holiday home there last summer.

It isn’t hard to see the appeal, with stunning stretches of beach, beautiful blue surf, and a largely untouched landscape.
Each cottage features one chimney that facilitates a multifuel back boiler stove in the living space, which heats the properties.
They also benefit from a wet system to heat the steel radiator in the bedroom, while the water supply is private and shared between the two properties – as is the drainage system, which connects to a shared private septic tank located in the garden grounds.

Access to the homes is from the main road via a hardcore track suitable for road vehicles, and the nearest village on the island, Arinagour, is just five miles away – so you won’t be too far from civilisation.
The homes, which are being sold together, are on the market with Bidwells for £420,000.
