Owner, Steve Jones, an ex-RAF engineer, had planned to convert it into a posh camping pad for up to four people.
But he “had a change of plans” and decided to put it on the market.

He suggested that it would be perfect for an aircraft buff to transform into a bar, restaurant or “man cave” or for a school to use as a classroom.
While the passenger seats have been removed, both the pilot and co-pilot seats are still intact and the section of the plane has a toilet.
Steve, of Wigan, said: “Here I have my fantastic Boeing 737-500 fuselage section G-BVKB formally BMI Baby for sale.

“It has a fully fitted cockpit. This cockpit section is fitted on a steel-wheeled transit frame.
“I was planning to convert this full-size section into a four-berth glamping pod with a fitted bedroom in the cargo bay but a change in plans now so I’ve decided to sell this on.

“It has a multitude of uses and can be easily converted to whatever you wish.
“Ideas are classroom, bar, alternative restaurant seating, glamping pod, simulator, office, man cave etc.

“This is located at my home a few miles from junction 27 M6 and I’m happy to show you around anytime.
“I have great contact with a local heavy haulage company who have made all my aircraft moves and can work with you for delivery.

“Haulage costs can be worked out upon request.
“This is a relatively easy section to move with a Hiab low loader.
“It is a notifiable load and will need an escort vehicle.”
The plane had been in service from 1994 until 2013 but had been sitting on the runway at RAF Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire ever since, as reported by Luxury Property News.

Steve saved the aircraft from being scrapped, sliced the front section off with an angle grinder and wanted to turn it into a holiday home.
