Renting in London is nothing short of an extreme sport and you’ll have to be very brave to sleep in this unusual ‘elevated’ king-sized bed.
Located in an otherwise modern and pleasant-looking studio, the sleeping arrangement is on an elevated platform that appears to be supported by just one thin pole.
But priced at £1,300 per month, including all bills except electricity, this studio – which is just a 15-minute tube ride from King’s Cross Station – could be a bargain for the right flat hunter.

The bed has to be accessed via a series of stairs, which also double as additional storage space.
The studio has a small living space featuring a kitchenette.
Mercifully, the sofa on the comparatively stable-looking wooden floor also doubles as a bed, so if you’re not a fan of heights or simply don’t trust yourself not to roll over, you have another option.
“The studio consists of a comfortable suspended king bed – you get to the bed through a built-in wooden staircase,” the ad from OpenRent reads.
On the upside, the studio also has a coffee table and TV with Freeview.
The ad bizarrely also boasts a “fully tiled bathroom” as a highlight.
Aside from the sleeping arrangement, there is a catch – the flat is only available for three months from February, Luxury Property News reports.
It is said to be located in a quiet area with all the modern amenities you could want including a gym, restaurants, coffee shops, and 24-hour shops.
