It means buyers could get their initial outlay back by 2027.

With a 10 per cent deposit of £1,500 – at a 5% interest rate over 25 years – Zoopla calculates mortgage repayments of just £78 per month.

The house is being auctioned by Auction House London tomorrow (1 Aug), as reported by Luxury Property News.

Boldon Colliery is one of three villages that make up The Boldons – the others are East Boldon and West Boldon.

It dates back to the 1870s and was named after a mine that began producing coal in 1869 and was then known as Boldon New Winning.

The mine closed in 1982, but more jobs arose when an Asda supermarket opened in 1987.
