A basic beach hut without power or services has gone on sale for a staggering £200,000 and some people have been left stunned.
The timber and corrugated iron hut is one of just 17 beach huts on the dog-friendly and boat-launching side of the beach.
It is located on Porth Mawr beach in Abersoch.

It is described as a perfect convenience for the coastal lifestyle and provides fantastic storage.
The average sold price for a semi-detached property in Wales is currently £213,000.
The detached hut was completely rebuilt in 2023 and features a private decking area with uninterrupted views across the bay, as reported by Luxury Property News.

Estate agents Elvins described it as a rare opportunity and said huts on this side of the beach “don’t come around often”.
They said: “Think BBQs with friends, sundowners with a view, somewhere to stash the paddleboards, the wetsuits, the beach toys and keep the sandwiches sand-free.
“Beach huts like this don’t come around often.”

They added: “Beach Hut 7, completely rebuilt in 2023, with private decking and uninterrupted views across the bay.

The guide price left some people shocked.
One person said: “I thought this was a joke or they’d added an extra zero on by mistake.”

Another added: “Looks like a garage.”

A third said: “£200k shed with no electric.
“No wonder there’s no housing for locals.
“Disgraceful.”
The hut is being sold freehold and final offers must be submitted by 4pm on 1 July.
