The red-brick building in Gainsborough, Lincs, has remained untouched inside and out since it was built in 1897.
Described as a truly rare and unique development opportunity, the tower has been tipped as the ideal “Grand Designs style project”.

It is said to have the potential to become a dream home or a unique Airbnb, as reported by Luxury Property News.
Planning permission for the change of use was granted by West Lindsey District Council in 2024.
The Cox’s Hill reservoir was first built in the 1860s to supply the growing town before being extended in the 1890s, prompting the construction of the new tower.

Cox’s Tower is being marketed by agents William H Brown.
