A one-bedroom flat in glorious Cornwall has gone up for sale – just a short drive from the beach – and could be yours for £50,000.

It is considered a great base for exploring Cornwall, as well as neighbouring Devon, as reported by Luxury Property News.
The home itself is slightly outdated but comes with the usual spaces – a kitchen, bathroom, lounge and bedroom.
The property has a lot of potential, though.
As seen in the images, the kitchen has white cupboards, a stainless steel sink, small boiler and black oven and hob.
Through to the bathroom, there is a shower, toilet and sink, with black and white tiles.
The bedroom and lounge both feature grey carpets and white walls.
The house is a mere 28-minute drive to Par Sands beach and is close to plenty of amenities, with access to the A30 and close to Bodmin train station.
Newquay airport is also just 15 miles away.
But there are a few minor catches to the cheap price.
The property is set to be sold at auction tomorrow – 29 August 2024 – with a guide price of just £50,000, and you can register to bid online.
The flat is a leasehold flat that started on a 120-year lease.
There is a monthly maintenance charge of £110 that includes water, with an annual ground rent of £150 per annum.
The seller of this property may also consider a pre-auction offer prior to the auction date.
