A two-bedroom “small renovation project” house selling for £145,550 has been mocked because it is so messy.
Homehunters joked it would need to be refurbed with a “flamethrower” and they’d need a “Hazmat suit” to view it.
The semi-detached pad looks quite unassuming from the outside, albeit the front garden is slightly overgrown.

But when prospective buyers go inside, they are met with the lounge, which is full of clutter.

It is dumped on the sofa, the coffee table and the floor.
The dated stereo and curtains also make it look like a time warp.

In the kitchen, dirty pans are piled up on the hob, and there are grubby walls, cabinets, and the ceiling.

Food, packets and boxes cover all the work surfaces and the floor.
There is also junk all over the floor in one of the bedrooms, and clothes are piled up on the bed.
The bathroom is covered in grime and three bins have been left on their side in the unkempt backyard.

The house is in the village of Alvaston, near Derby.
Estate agents Springbok Properties state that it is ideal for someone wishing to “embark on a small renovation project.”

House hunters were quick to poke fun at it, as reported on Luxury Property News.
One joked: “Embark on a small renovation project”

“With a flamethrower?
Another – named Martin – echoed this and quipped: “A small renovation project.”
Andrew Peterson said: “The three wheelie bins on their side in the garden add a unique character.”
Chris Sreed added: “Of course I remembered to clean up before the estate agent turned up babe.”

Gavin Barrie said: “Oh God, I need to go and shower after seeing that.”
Another added: “Hazmat suit required before entering.”
It is also being advertised on Rightmove.
The description makes no mention of the mess it has been left in.

It reads: “Nestled within the charming village of Alvaston, this property offers an ideal setting for those looking to expand their portfolio.
“Or embark on a small renovation project.
“The home is conveniently located with easy access to a wide range of local amenities, transport options, and major road links.

“Making it a desirable choice for buyers seeking both tranquility and convenience.
“Offering no chain this property features a spacious lounge and two double bedrooms.
“Externally you will benefit from font and rear gardens.”
