A unique property has gone on sale for just £5 – but there’s a slight catch.
The home is completely made of sweets and is, in fact, a gingerbread house.
The property has been listed for sale at £5 ahead of the holidays, and purports to feature three large bedrooms, a spacious living room, a sizeable kitchen and one bathroom.

It also comes with a gym, perfect for those looking to make a healthy change once the festive season is over, as reported by Luxury Property News.

Stand-out features also include large double doors at the entrance, a spacious dining area and a candy cane-lined path.
The listing describes the property as “iced to perfection” and “Santa-friendly”.
It is also close to local chocolatiers, perfect for those with a sweet tooth.
The only problem? It’s not real – though putting an offer in, via a donation on JustGiving, will lead to having your name in the running to win a gingerbread house.

And it’s all in the name of charity, with estate agents WalkersXchange raising money for Bryson’s Animal Shelter.
Pictures of the listing have garnered attention online, where one person wrote: “Finally a property I can afford!”

“Tasty!” wrote another fan.
Someone else added: “Oh, that’s adorable.”

“Hilarious! If you do rent, mind saving a room for me? 10 pence a month, good sir! But I might take a bite out the window,” another viewer joked.
However, some people were put off by possible issues – since it is made of gingerbread, after all.
One person said: “It’s nice but damp is a real problem for that type of property.”

All donations placed on the property will go to Bryson’s Animal Shelter, with a winner to be drawn on 18 December.
A gingerbread house will be delivered or collected from or by WalkersXchange Estate Agents in Tyne and Wear.
