A sci-fi enthusiast has invested £10,000 in transforming his backyard into a Star Wars-themed bar from scratch.
Chester Walsh dedicated two months to constructing his ideal home bar, inspired by his beloved film series.
The design of the bar is modeled after the iconic Mos Eisley Cantina, featured in Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope, where fans first encounter Harrison Ford’s legendary character, Han Solo.

Since his early twenties, Chester has been an avid Star Wars fan.
The garden bar measures 5.5 by 4.5 meters and includes a spacious main room with a bar area where Chester can serve his friends drinks that are truly out of this world.
The 27-year-old from Northampton bought a summerhouse cabin for £4,000 and then worked on transforming it into his dream creation.
The remaining £6,000 was allocated for materials to construct the exterior and furnish the interior.
Visitors to the bar will be greeted by a droid bartender, adding to the authentic theme of the venue.
Chester, who resides with his partner, shared with Luxury Property News: “It was a sense of relief to have it done.
“It’s not fully complete yet; there are some minor adjustments and additional features I want to incorporate in the future.
“For now, the main project of the cantina is finished, and any further additions are considered separate mini-projects in my mind.
“Initially, I envisioned it as a spaceship, but finding a base with rounded walls and a durable overall shape that wasn’t prohibitively expensive proved challenging.
“I decided that a summer house cabin would work to make the outside resemble the galaxy’s edge buildings.”
Chester, who transitioned from working in a law firm to becoming a prop maker, added: “The doorway entrance turned out very cool and significantly enhances the overall aesthetic.
“Palpatine’s Mural is a prominent central art piece that I believe contributes to the ‘high-end’ cantina look with in-world collectors’ items.
“Honestly, I struggled to get into Star Wars when I was younger, which was odd given my love for superheroes, comic books, and posters of space, galaxies, and planets, even having glow-in-the-dark stars on my ceiling.
“It wasn’t until my early twenties that I fell in love with Star Wars, and now it’s undoubtedly my favorite franchise.”
