A retired nurse has transformed a holiday home into a giant circus – and it’s proving very popular with holidaymakers.
The one-bedroom property, called Circus Circus, features red-and-white striped walls and swooping fabric draped from the ceilings.
There is even a traditional dodgems sign.
Diane Condie created the unique venue in Holywell, Flintshire, north Wales, with the help of husband Jonathan.

“At first I was really nervous about letting, especially as it’s such a different profession to nursing, but the kindness of our guests has made me wonder why I ever worried,” the 58-year-old told Luxury Property News.

“Now my favourite part of the job is meeting everyone who comes through the door and showing off our unique property.”
The property is listed with Sykes Holiday Cottages and is described as “a fun-filled extravaganza of a property”.

The listing says it “combines the home comforts you’d expect from a self-catering stay with a playful décor with an abundance of attention to detail”.
The studio-style layout combines living, cooking and sleeping areas.

The walls are adorned with bright circus stripes and animals.
And the circus-tent ceiling really completes the feel.

James Shaw, Managing Director at Sykes Holiday Cottages, added: “I really enjoy seeing the wide range of properties our owners offer to holidaymakers and Circus Circus is no exception.

“Our data actually shows that unique properties are the highest earning type of holiday let so it definitely pays to let your creative spirit shine.”
