A narrow studio that “looks like a hallway” has gone on sale for £60,000.
The factory conversion flat was completed in 2008.
Images show a narrow, long room with a single mattress on the floor next to a sofa.

It appears that the current tenant works from the mattress as a laptop, keyboard and mouse can be seen laid out in front of it.

At the other end of the room is a small kitchen.
The property, located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, has been described as “ideal for students”.
But it has been slammed online for looking like a corridor.
The property is being advertised by Yopa, as reported by Luxury Property News.

The description says: “Located on the ground floor with its secure entrance hallway; this stylish studio apartment features an open plan living/kitchen area and separate bathroom with a modern, fresh and tasteful feel.
“The fully fitted kitchen comes smartly equipped with gas hobs, an electric oven, a kettle and plenty of cupboard space.

“The living area is furnished with a compact table and chairs, storage unit, sofa-bed, TV stand, book-shelf and laminate throughout with the large double-glazed window allowing the whole apartment to be flooded with natural light while maintaining privacy.
“The contemporary bathroom features a tiled floor and walls, mirrored cabinet, a modern-style toilet and sink, and a powerful, direct-feed shower.”

Another commentor said: “You can buy a two bed house for £100,000 in Sheffield.
“Invest better.”
Someone else added: “If I did buy, need the whole inside re-doing.

“Small as f*ck.”
Another person said: “No way.”

A fifth commentor added: “Nice area, city centre, cheap.”
A Yopa spokesperson said: “Furniss Hill, is a studio ground floor apartment, nestled amongst the hustle and bustle of the Sheffield city Centre, so great access to the shops, offices, cafe, bars and entertainment:

“It’s actually is the smallest studio apartment I have ever had on the market in 28 years of being an agent, it may be small but has lots of charm and character: a grand total of 21 Square meters and if purchased at £59,000 it would generate a 11 percent gross yield as a buy to let as the property has the option to be sold with tenant in situ.
“So, a great opportunity for a first-time investor or another one to add to a portfolio for seasoned investors.”
