The second narrowest home in London has gone on the market for a whopping £1.2 million – despite its tiny size.

At just seven-foot-wide, the petite property sticks out like a sore thumb on Peel Street in Kensington.

But its exterior is deceptive – and inside, the owners have managed to cram two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen diner and reception room, as well as its own private terrace.

But while it may be small, it proves that location really is everything – with value being added in its sought-after Notting Hill Gate surroundings.

Cleverly spaced out over three floors, the house was built in 1930 and refurbished during the 50s.

The current owner, who has had the property for the past decade, has carefully designed the space to use every inch of its square footage.

The front door opens into the “Tardis-like”open plan kitchen and dining room, which are surprisingly spacious, meaning there is room to host – if your guests don’t mind a rather cosy atmosphere.

Also on the ground floor is a shower room and WC, and one of the two bedrooms, as reported by Luxury Property News.

Heading upstairs, there’s a first-floor reception room, just large enough for a sofa and chair, but much of which is dominated by the fireplace.

But you won’t be too claustrophobic – the room opens out onto a decked rear terrace with room for alfresco dining.

Meanwhile up to the second floor, there’s a top floor suite complete with elegant front-facing slash windows and an en suite bathroom.

If you do feel the need to escape the confines of the home, there’s always Kensington Gardens and Holland Park just a few minutes away on foot – plus, of course, the rest of the bustling city.

The pad is currently on the market with Unique Property Company, priced at £1,195,000.
