A luxurious estate once owned by a celebrity icon has hit the market and since been sold for an eye-watering $14M.
Known as one of Hollywood’s highest paid actresses, Michelle Pfeiffer has an impressive property portfolio under her belt.
The Scarface star is believed to have bought an exclusive estate for $22m (USD) (£16.6m) along with husband, David E. Kelley a few years ago, after selling their other home for $9.1m (USD) (£6.8m).

Both located in the sought after Pacific Palisades area, Los Angeles, US, they’re not the first properties she’s purchased there.
In the 1980s, the actress owned the expansive equestrian estate that covers 3.3 acres of land and boasts five separate buildings, reports Luxury Property News.
The plot was actually built for Golden Age star, Will Rogers, who was also known as one of Hollywood’s highest paid actors during the 1930s.
Rogers’ career involved over 50 silent films, 21 talkies and over 4,000 newspaper columns, as well as his controversial comedy career.
He also acted as Mayor of Beverly Hills and was an aviation enthusiast, which ultimately led to his demise in 1935, when he was involved in a plane crash.
But alongside his many talents, he had an eye for property.
The estate includes the main house, a staff house, pool house, stables and a guest house.
Across 6,250 sqft, there’s multiple bedrooms, a two-level library and a choice of seating areas.
Inside, high ceilings and rustic wooden beams contrast against the pristine white walls.
Dark hardwood floors accent the open-floor plan and furnishings, which are clean and minimalistic.
Each room oozes luxury, coupled with a focus on eye-pleasing inclusions.
From subtle pieces of art, to glass-lined walls or heavily-patterned wallpaper, no part is the same.
Accessed via a private gate, with a wraparound walkway to the front door, there’s luscious greenery either side waiting to be admired.
From entering the lobby, where there’s one seating area, another two can be found around the corner – with an original fireplace creating the centrepiece.
The layout allows each room to flow into another, with the striking dining room leading into the impressive country-style chef’s kitchen, around to another dining area and then the grounds.
Up a winding staircase, there are double bedrooms with French doors that open out to allow fresh air to fill the room.
And the bathrooms are complete with ‘his and hers’ sinks, a rainfall walk-in shower and deep-fill bathtub.
Outside, trees and other shrubbery line the gardens, creating the ultimate privacy from neighbours.
The pool, positioned in the middle, creates a hub for entertaining guests on a warm summer night.
An al fresco dining area is toward the back of the manicured gardens, with another flower-lined walkway leading round to the rest of the estate.
The stables have now been turned into a fully equipped gym, with the pool house offering a place to play games or relax after a busy day in the sunshine – and even a spa.
The most recent owners expanded the home and used the help of interior designer, Michael S. Smith, who did the remodel of Barack Obama’s Oval Office in 2010.
Offering a peaceful atmosphere, the estate, which features on Top Ten Real Estate Deals, is only a stone’s throw away from the bustling city of LA.
Neighbours include Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Whoopi Goldberg and Matt Damon.
It’s now been sold by F. Ron Smith and David Berg of Smith & Berg Partners at Compass for $14m (USD) (£10.5m).
