A house “occupied by feral cats and raccoons” has gone on the market for $300,000.

Nestled in 4.86 acres of rural land, a creepy cabin-style home can be seen, with boarded-up windows and an air of abandonment.

Eerily, the property listing for the dilapidated home came with a strict warning: enter “at your own risk”.

As for why? The estate agent confirmed the house has been overtaken by wild animals, with feral cats and raccoons taking up home inside.

The property – which is in Parkton, Maryland, US – went on the market this month, but doesn’t appear to have any takers yet.

However, the estate agent was quick to state that the home isn’t the selling point, with the land itself holding the value.

At the same time, they hastened to add that potential buyers should steer clear of entering the perilous home.

The bizarre listing, shared with Luxury Property News, reads: “The value is in the land.

“Do NOT enter the house under any conditions.

“It is occupied by feral cats and raccoons.

“How do they get along? I don’t know.

“Be careful going on the land.

“It is at your own risk.

“The house is in a teardown and is falling down, although the roof appears newer. “From what we know, there is an outhouse on the property, and the drinking water comes from the stream/spring.

“We don’t believe there is indoor plumbing.”

Alongside the string of warnings, the agent also noted that it enjoys “almost five acres of gorgeous Baltimore County lands” and is “just steps” from Bee Tree Preserve.

They added: “Bring your vision and your money.

“Seller makes no representations or warranties to anything regarding this property.

“Buyer must take on responsibility for all tests, easement research, etc.”

They also noted that the Subaru car pictured on the listing is also included in the price, though the vehicle looks rather worse for wear.

The property – and, more importantly, the land – is currently available with Ashley Richardson of Monument Sotheby’s International Realty for $300,000.
