Hollywood royalty Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy are selling their stunning 19th-century townhouse for $9.75 million (£7.7 million).

The romantic four-bedroom property was originally built in 1880 and gives off the vibes of sun-drenched Ancient Greece.

Greek Revival is an architectural style that showcases forms and shapes common in the European country, in particular the Greek temple.

And while the property retains these stunning details, it was also renovated by the couple after they purchased it in 2012.

The married couple are entertainment veterans, with 45-year-old Claire Danes, from New York, US, well-known for her roles in Homeland, Romeo + Juliet and Fleishman Is in Trouble.

Hugh Dancy, 49, from Staffordshire, England, has starred in Black Hawk Down, David Copperfield and Hannibal.

Inside the home, located in Manhattan, New York, you can find red brick and wood-accented features, which spread across 3,890 sq ft, as reported by Luxury Property News.

Boasting four bedrooms and four bathrooms, the home is complete with white walls and ceilings, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows.

The lounge area is decorated with chunky furniture, an original fireplace, wall art, candles, a seating area and plenty of greenery.
