A historic home once owned by a Formula One team boss is on the market for £800,000.
The stunning three-bed Georgian house was the former residence of Colin Crabbe – who entered cars in 17 Formula One races back in 1969 and 1970.
Crabbe, founder of Antique Automobiles, died earlier this year.

His drivers included Vic Elford and Ronnie Peterson.

Baston House in Baston, near Spalding, Lincs, built in 1830, was not only his home but also the hub of his car-restoration empire – attracting collectors from across the globe, as reported by Luxury Property News.
The Grade II listed property offers over 3,100 sq ft of space and features elegant high-ceilinged rooms, sash windows, ornate fireplaces and a dual-aspect garden room with underfloor heating.

A separate coach house includes garaging and two annex suites – perfect for guests or as a home business base.
It also boasts a walled garden with mature borders, privacy, and even a 5m swim-spa pool.
His son, Alastair Crabbe, said: “Baston House was more than just a home to my father – it was the heart of his adventures.

“It’s where he brought extraordinary cars back to life and where he shared his passion with so many.
“We hope the next owners will appreciate the spirit of the place and the stories it holds.”
James Abbott, of Savills, added: “Baston House is a truly special property – not only for its architectural elegance and beautifully preserved Georgian features, but for the legacy of its former owner.

“Colin Crabbe was a man of vision and character, and this house reflects that in every detail.
“It’s a home with soul, history, and a story that will resonate with anyone who values heritage and individuality.”
The property is listed with Savills at a guide price of £800,000.
