A haunted mansion that appeared on the TV show Ghost Hunters has hit the market for $1.67 million.
And it might have some ghoulish lodgers lurking in the walls.
The property, which was built in the 1860s, boasts 1.7 acres of open land.

Across 5,500 sqft, there are seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, two living rooms, a solarium and a powder room.

But its claim to fame is the spooky occurrences that have happened behind closed doors.
HGTV’s If These Walls Could Talk and Ghost Hunters both visited the property, with one team staying for four nights, reports Luxury Property News.
They claimed to capture noises of ghouls, unexplained heat sources and spotted moving orbs.

The current owners also heard stories from the sellers, which they didn’t believe at first, but a year later, they were proved wrong.
The gated property appears tranquil upon entering the driveway, with shrubbery, flowers and a pond in the entrance.
A large porch area offers access to most of the downstairs, including the grand foyer, complete with rustic hand-carved woodwork throughout.

The sitting room is classy and boasts an original fireplace.
In the dining room, all focus is on the table, which occupies the centre space – perfect for hosting a murder mystery night.
The solarium offers natural light to flood through from all angles with the window-lined walls.

A chef’s kitchen opens up into another seating area and a separate living room.
Up the grand staircase are the bedrooms.
Throughout, the interior design is timeless and in keeping with its 1860s roots, including Tiffany-style stained glass windows.

The bathroom is marble-lined and oozes luxury with a deep-fill bathtub and walk-in rainfall shower.
Artwork dotted around pulls back from the modern world, allowing for the Victorian era to be truly embraced.
Outside, there’s a pool, built-in grill, jacuzzi and carriage house with a dog run for furry friends to go wild.

And garage space for up to four cars.
Located near Long Island’s Great South Bay in Bayport, New York, US, it’s close to a range of shops and restaurants – and less than two hours from Manhattan.
It’s currently listed for $1.67m with Joanne Schloen of Howard Hanna – Coach Realtors.
