The farmhouse that inspired The Conjuring horror films is heading to auction for Halloween.
The historic home was once occupied by the Perron family and became famous after they reported paranormal activity in the 1970s.
The sale comes following the release of The Conjuring: Last Rites, which premiered on 5 September, as reported on Luxury Property News.

The 3,000-square-foot, 14-room property was built in 1736 and is described by auctioneers as “famous for historical paranormal sightings and activity”.

Previous visitors have reported furniture moving on its own, books falling from shelves, and mysterious lights appearing.
The farmhouse, in Burrillville, Rhode Island, US, last sold in May 2022 for $1.5 million.
Its current owner, Jacqueline Nuñez, was arrested on DUI charges in October 2024 and later lost her entertainment license for the property after town officials voted against renewing it.

Builders, developers, and fans of the supernatural are expected to compete for the property at auction.
JJManning Aucitoneers in New England will open bidding on 31 October at 11am local time.
