Frank Sinatra’s former California home, a Hollywood hotspot rumored to host JFK and Marilyn Monroe, is on the market for $7.995M. It generates up to $1.2M annually as a film location.

The former California home of Frank Sinatra has gone on the market for just shy of $8 million.

The famous property was used as a “playground for the Hollywood elite”, and a rumoured fling between Marilyn Monroe and John F Kennedy is believed to have taken place there in the early 1960s.

It is also reportedly the most filmed private location in the US, generating between $750,000 – $1.2 million annually as a filming location.

These days, it’s not as steeped in the celebrity rumour mill, but it’s still a stunning home.

Boasting seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, the property is spread across 758 square metres and enjoys 13 acres of private land, reports Luxury Property News.

Outside, the garden has a large swimming pool and sprawling lawns to bask in the California sunshine.

The location enjoys panoramic views of the Chatswoth Preserve, and the home itself was designed by architect William Pereira, and built in 1949.

A spokesperson for The Agency, who hold the listing, called it “Legendary, elite and exceptional in every way”.
