The Cold War relics were created to protect people from missile attacks.

The bunkers have huge concrete and steel blast doors.

They were designed to withstand a direct hit from a 2,000lb bomb.

They can also protect those inside from a ten megaton thermonuclear airburst explosion.

But the bunkers are covered in grass that resembles the 90s kids favourite’s home – the Tubbytronic Superdome.

The Teletubbies were renowned for their Eh-oh catchphrase.

Since they were used as bunkers the site has been used by pop star Beyonce for a music video.

And it has also been the backdrop for films – like Star Wars.

The bunkers are located at RAF Greenham Common, near Newbury, Berkshire.

They are being sold by Quintons estate agents and it is being advertised on Rightmove.

There is no guide price with it revealed when potential buyers summit an application to purchase it.

They have listed the massive earth-covered concrete bunkers as “ultra secure” storage spaces.

Each bunker is kept at a constant “cave-like”temperature of 13.5°C – and has access via internal tunnels and a 53-tonne double steel “blast” door, which opens to form a drawbridge across deep external trenches.

Situated on a 76-acre site which boasts 20 acres of concrete hardstanding and 75,000 sq ft of additional military buildings – it offers high perimeter fences, security checkpoints, CCTV, mains power, and water.

They were built in 1980, as reported on Luxury Property News.

The original Ground Launched Cruise Missile site at RAF Greenham Common was one of two British bases used to house Unite States Airforce missiles during the Cold War.

In 1992 when the site was returned to the UK Government.

In more recent years the premises has attracted A-listers and has been used as a filming location for Beyoncé music videos and several Hollywood blockbusters.

The base appeared both in Fast and Furious 9, and as the Resistance base on the fictional planet D’Qar in both the 2015 and 2017 Star Wars films.

Now, four decades after their construction, the bunkers have re-emerged for lease on the property market.

The listing reads: “Six massive earth covered, concrete Ground Launched Cruise Missile Bunkers.

“They all have huge concrete and steel blast doors to each end, north and south.

“Internally the bunkers comprise three tunnels.

“The buildings comprise the former nuclear missile bunkers for the former Greenham Common Airbase.

“The bunkers are constructed of concrete with steel doors and are considered to be highly secure.

“They measure 40.9m long x 4.86m width x 3.92m height.

“The bunkers are constructed to withstand a direct hit from a 2,000lbs bomb and a ten megaton thermonuclear airburst explosion.

“Each main door weighing approx 53 tonnes, which when open form drawbridges across deep external trenches.

“The bunkers act as a natural cave maintaining the temperature of 13.5C.”
