A classic red phone box – one of just 3,000 left in UK – is on sale in a posh neighbourhood for just £7,500.
It is Grade II listed and described as having potential alternative uses include advertising, coffee shop, ice cream, library, florist, vending machine, storage, miniature art gallery or defibrillator.
The iconic red telephone kiosk were designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, the architect responsible for famous sites like Liverpool Cathedral and Battersea Power Station.

They were a familiar sight on the streets of Britain but have been gradually replaced.
The historic K6 red telephone box is opposite St Luke’s Church in Redcliffe Square, Chelsea.

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is one of Britain’s most affluent areas characterised by period terraces and mansion blocks, as reported by Luxury Property News.
They can still be seen in Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories

The colour red was chosen to make them easy to spot.
The sale is being handled by Strettons Auctions on 16 April.
