Chris Evans has slashed more than half a million pounds off the asking price of his Hollywood Hills mansion after struggling to find a buyer.
The Captain America star has cut the price of his luxury Los Angeles home as he prepares to leave the city behind.
Evans’ gated estate has returned to the market for around £5.05million ($6.395million) – down from its previous £5.52million ($6.9million) asking price.

The Marvel actor’s sprawling 4,599sq ft property sits in the exclusive Hollywood Hills and has been billed as the ultimate celebrity retreat.
The home was even used by Evans as a personal training base while preparing for his role as superhero Captain America, as reported by Luxury Property News.

Tucked away at the end of a secluded road, the four-bedroom, six-bathroom property offers what estate agents describe as “absolute privacy” and a sense of “calm energy”.
Inside, the modernised mansion features vaulted ceilings, open-plan living areas and floor-to-ceiling glass windows framing dramatic canyon and mountain views.
A chef’s kitchen comes complete with top-of-the-range appliances and a skylit design, while the main living spaces flow onto terraces overlooking the surrounding landscape.
One of the property’s biggest selling points is its private gym, where Evans is said to have trained during his Captain America days.

The home also boasts a spa-style principal suite and separate guest accommodation.
Outside, there is a swimming pool, spa, landscaped gardens and multiple lounge areas designed for both entertaining and relaxation.
Evans bought the property in 2013 and has previously revealed plans to relocate from Los Angeles to the East Coast with his wife and young daughter.

The estate has been marketed as a rare Hollywood Hills compound with serious celebrity pedigree in one of the area’s most sought-after locations.
Agents say the property combines luxury living with a secluded hillside setting, offering a “rare sense of serenity” just minutes from the heart of the city.
The home is being marketed by Scott Moore of Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California.
