A flat in central London has gone on the market for the bargain price of just £70,000 – but there’s a catch.
While the location is extremely sought-after, situated on Cumberland Street in Pimlico, inside a towering white building with an impressive façade.
But inside, with the home measuring just nine square metres, things are rather cramped.

Just two pictures were shared for the property listing, showing the main living space.
The bulk of the studio flat appears to be a cushioned seating area, cupboards for storage, and a television on the wall.
Heading up two steps leads into a small kitchen area, where a sink and cabinets can be seen – though it is unclear if the room is fitted with an oven or hob.
A door from there shows the not pictured separate bathroom, which appears to be fitted with a shower.
While the flat is near Pimlico underground station, a floor plan of the home shows that the space measures 2.06m x 3.25m – making it narrower than the Tube train carriages you will be riding in, which are around 2.6m wide.
The “apartment” is located on the ground floor of a five-floor mid terrace building, reports Luxury Property News.
And there’s another catch.
The property listing, held by Auction House London, also states: “We understand that the property does not currently have planning permission for residential use” – and recommends prospective buyers “rely on their own enquiries”.
The home is held on a 125-year lease from June 2007, and was previously put up for auction earlier this month – though it appears it failed to sell.
