Apocalypse-fearing Brits have been given the perfect chance at salvation as a nuclear bunker is for sale for £15,000.
It was originally built in the 1950s during Britain’s post-war era.
It came as the threat of nuclear war heightened.

Many of the Locations across the country were decommissioned in 1993 with many being replaced with mobile phone masts.
The bunker is in excellent condition and features an above-ground shed and on-site parking for the new owner.
Potential buyers will have access to an active phone line to keep in touch with the rest of the world.
The Royal Observer Corps Nuclear Bunker is in Sedbergh, east of Cumbria.
SDL Property Auctions is selling it on 25 July with a £15,000 guide price, as reported by Luxury Property News.
The auctioneers describe the property as: “Fantastic opportunity to buy a piece of past war British history.
“The once-in-a-generation opportunity is to buy a ROC Nuclear Bunker otherwise known as a Royal Observer post.
“This particular site was one of many built in the 1950s and was designed to provide protective accommodation for three observers to survive a nuclear attack, they were expected to report on the nuclear bursts and on the fall out of a nuclear attack.
“They were provided with enough food and water for fourteen days and had a landline and radio communications available to them.
“The landline is connected and live and we are informed it can have broadband connected.
“The bunker is secure, dry and in its original condition, the current owner has refurbished and decorated it in readiness for its new owner.
“It also benefits from secure off-street parking. SDL are also in possession of the key which opens and locks the hatch.
“The current owner has also placed a shed on site. The site also has its own gate to access the land it comes with and vehicular access from the road over the land for access.”
