An old slaughterhouse marketed as a one bed ‘investment’ hits the market for a cut price of £30,000.
The property has been described as an ‘excellent’ rental or Airbnb opportunity.
During its prime the building located at the foot of the garden was used as a slaughterhouse for the butcher.

Now the property is in need of a new owner who is willing to revamp – and maybe a quick scrub down.

The ‘shambles’ is situated on Castle Road, Daventry, Northamptonshire.
According to Rightmove the old slaughterhouse was last sold in 2011 – for £127,500.
Almost £100,000 cheaper the property will now set punters back just £30,000, as reported by Luxury Property News.

Home hunters will need to be on the ball to secure the property with the building being sold through the Modern Method auction.
According to eXp UK, who are hosting the sale, the buyer and seller are to complete within 56 days.
The agent has insisted that following a restoration the home could make the new owner over £11,000 per year through renting.
The building is located within walking distance of the village shops and has plenty of access to green space.
A spokesperson for eXp UK, stated: “Was the post office and at one time it was a butcher’s shop; the little slaughterhouse is still standing at the bottom of the garden.
“This is what we have to offer you today and we will call it the shambles, another name for slaughterhouse.

“This would be a great way to be a first project if you want to be a property investor, or a hobby without spending too much money, this would be for you.
“This when finished would be a great investment property as an Airbnb or a Shorthold property let.
“If done to a good condition using solar panels and heat pump extension using the old footprint to make the wet room you could get £750 to £950 pcm.”
