A parking space is up for rent for a whopping £950 a month – which is more than the average rent on somewhere to live in the UK.
The spot is just 100 sq ft or nine sq metres.
Situated 0.3 miles from Britain’s busiest station – Liverpool Street – the expensive space in Principal Tower is available to rent for £11,500 a year.

The driver who is willing to shell out to pay for the spot will also need a £1,097 deposit.

The space is being advertised by Foxtons, Shoreditch, as reported by Luxury Property News.
It’s an underground space in a secure block where a fob is needed to gain access.
However, the average tenant in the UK pays £745 per month on a flat or house.

So the parking spot is £205 more.
It is being advertised on Rightmove.
The description reads: “A prime underground parking space situated moments from Liverpool Street/Liverpool Street Station boasting a fob entry and lift access.

The parking space is situated moments from a range of shops and amenities that can be found on Liverpool Street and nearby Shoreditch.”
A three-bedroomed penthouse in the tower costs an eye-watering £9.9m.

Last February a posh parking space, in St Leonard’s Terrace, Chelsea, west London, went on sale for £165,000.
It was the same price as the average home in the cheapest town in the UK – Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria
