The iconic home owned by neighbour Doris O’Neill in Gavin & Stacey has gone on sale for £220,000.
The character, played by the late great Margaret John, was a firm favourite among fans of the beloved BBC sitcom.
And now her two-bed home, where she entertained her younger lovers and curtain twitched for the local gossip, has hit the market.

The two-bed house, which is next door to Stacey’s childhood home, is equipped with a modern kitchen, a nice garden at the rear and a spacious living and dining area.

The bathroom is located on the first floor alongside the two double bedrooms.
In the series, Doris left the home to Matthew Horne and Joanna Page’s characters – Gavin and Stacey Shipman – in her will.
The duo lived in the property with their three children – Harri, Megan and Caitlin.

The house hit the market yesterday (1 Jul), as reported by Luxury Property News.
Chris Davies Estate Agents, which is hosting the sale, stated: “Located in the highly sought after West End of Barry, this charming two-bedroom mid-terrace property offers a rare opportunity to own a piece of British television history.
“Famously known as Doris’s house from the beloved BBC series Gavin & Stacey, this delightful home is brimming with warmth, personality and seaside charm.”
Superfans have been blown away by the listing.
Adam Elmstrom said: “Would be a great Airbnb.”

John Brain said: “I can smell the omelettes from here.”
Jackie added: “This won’t be on the market long.”
Ethan said: “Smithy did a great job on that bathroom.”

Another said: “Someone needs to buy this as an Airbnb so I can stay in Stacey’s house.”
