A tiny beach hut measuring just 13 2 ” by 6’2″ has gone on the market for an eye-watering £110,000 ahead of the busy summer months.
They can be the dream for beach lovers, offering a private spot to get changed, make a cup of tea and keep your possessions safe while you frolic on the shore.
But this beach hut comes at a steep cost, particularly considering the limited facilities.

Set on Avon Beach in Christchurch, Dorset, number 93 is just a few steps from the sand. It offers beautiful views of the Isle of Wight and down to Hengistbury Head.

Just a few metres from the sea, the hut was painted freshly white last month (April 2025), fitting in with its blue and green pastel neighbours.
It has a tiny deck with room for two chairs, and inside isn’t much roomier, reports Luxury Property News.

At the back of the hut is a fitted kitchen with an integrated fridge, a two-burner gas hob, a sink unit and storage cupboards.
Meanwhile, the current owners have utilised the bulk of the space to house a table and two chairs, and store sun loungers for the beach.

Despite the hefty price tag, there are no toilet or shower facilities, which are instead a 170-metre walk away and for shared use.
The hut offers a maximum capacity of four, though this may be a bit of a squeeze, and parking comes at a cost, too.
But for local beach buffs, it could be the perfect base to enjoy what is set to be a sizzling summer, if this week’s temperatures are anything to go by.

The property is featured on Beachhuts.com and advertised at £110,000, with prospective buyers to contact the owners directly to make an offer.
A similarly sized hut on the nearby Friar’s Cliff beach with comparable facilities is currently on the market at almost half the price, at £61,000.

Meanwhile, the local The Noisy Lobster restaurant, who own several of the Avon Beach huts, rents the small huts out for £250 a day during high season from April to September.
