The second narrowest home in London has gone on the market for £1.25 million.
The Notting Hill Gate pad is just seven-feet-wide – less than the width of Tube carriages, which start at eight feet.
While it is undoubtedly on the petite side, the terraced house is small but mighty, squeezing in two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The property is painted pale green with black accents, showing off its narrow structure in comparison to the surrounding properties.

Set across three floors, heading inside the ground floor opens directly into a kitchen which, though not particularly large, is light and bright, and appears to have all the necessary utilities.

Beyond the kitchen is an open-plan dining room and, across the hall, a bathroom and one of the double bedrooms.

Heading upstairs to the first floor, a cosy drawing room just about has space for a two-seater sofa but space is certainly limited and the lounge is unlikely to be used for entertaining more than one or two people.

The lounge leads onto the roof terrace – a rarity in the capital, perhaps making the cramped conditions inside worth it, reports Luxury Property News.

The garden has room for a bench, table and chairs.
Upstairs on the second floor is home to the second bedroom, again able to fit a double bed – albeit with limited space either side to get in or out – and en suite bathroom.

The listing, held by Unique Property Company, states that the home was built in 1930 and refurbished 20 years later.
The listing reads: “For a compact home, there’s an awful lot to unpack here.

“Every square foot of the three floors has been thoroughly and thoughtfully designed.
“It’s a hugely distinctive home.
“Even at seven feet wide, its presence sits large along Peel Streets historic period terrace.”
The agent also described the property as having a “Tardis-like feel” in the kitchen and dining area, due to looking deceptively spacious for the narrow abode.
The property is currently available for £1.25 million and is believed to be the second most narrow home in the city.
