The quirky home of one of the inventors of the Rollerblade has gone on the market for just under $600,000.

Described as a “historic showstopper of a home”, the pad features four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and is based in Bloomington, Minnesota, US.

It was formerly owned by Scott Olson, who famously started the Rollerblade brand of inline skates alongside brother Brennan.

Credited as creating the mainstream skates still used today, following previous inline-skate use by ice speed skaters, the popular footwear features a heavy boot with wheels along the sole.
