A church where Dame Helen Mirren married her film director husband is on the market for just £80,000 – and could even be turned into a museum.
The 1880s building in Ardersier, near Inverness, was the setting for the Oscar-winning actress’ wedding to Taylor Hackford on 31 December, 1997.
Now the Church of Scotland has put the former Ardersier Parish Church up for sale following a review of its role in the local congregation.

The property is not listed but sits within a conservation area and offers 2,271 sq ft of space, including a main worship area, hall, kitchen, toilet and store.
The sale also includes garden grounds, while a public car park is situated at the rear, as reported by Luxury Property News.

According to the sales details, the building could be used as a nursery, day centre, educational establishment, museum or public library without needing change-of-use consent.
Retail, commercial and community uses may also be possible with the appropriate permissions, while residential development could be considered subject to planning consent.
The church is connected to mains water and electricity, with heating supplied by an oil-fired boiler.

Rev James Bissett, Presbytery Clerk for Clèir Eilean Ì, said the building had remained in use as a Local Mission Church after Ardersier joined with Petty and The Barn Church in Culloden to form a new parish.
He said: “The review period has now concluded and Ardersier Church is being released for sale.”
He added that any money raised would remain with the congregation to help it continue serving communities east of Inverness.
The church has a famous connection to Hollywood, with Mirren and Hackford marrying there in 1997 after reportedly staying with friends at nearby Castle Stuart.

The actress, now 81, has enjoyed a celebrated career, winning an Academy Award for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen, as well as a Tony Award and an Emmy.
She also starred in Prime Suspect and Calendar Girls.
Mirren previously showed an interest in the village’s affairs, backing a campaign in 2016 to block a controversial sewage treatment plant in Ardersier.
The coastal village sits on the Moray Firth, around ten miles from Inverness, and has local shops, cafés, a primary school and coastal walks.
