A stunning beachfront estate has hit the market amid the ongoing scorching weather.
The estate – which stretches across nearly 8,000 acres – includes a nine-bedroom lodge, two cottages, and several farm buildings to enjoy.
Dubbed Runie & Keanchulish Estate, the primary lodge sits close to the sea on Ardmair Bay in Wester Ross, a village in the north-west Scottish Highlands.

The property has been extended and adapted over the years to provide a comfortable residence for a family or entertaining guests.

Constructed of whitewashed stone walls externally under pitched slated roofs, it boasts around 430 square metres of interior space – meaning it could be the perfect place to host friends and family over the summer.
Meanwhile, a traditional cottage located in an “off-grid” spot to the north of the lodge and on the north side of the River Canaird boasts a further two bedrooms.
The three-bedroom second cottage is currently used as a holiday let, located closer to the entrance to the estate from the main road, as reported by Luxury Property News.

The land of the entire estate rises from sea level to 650 metres above, at the summit ridge line of the imposing Ben Mor Coigach – which forms part of the north-western boundary.
For those set to enjoy summer at the estate, which sits approximately 60 miles from Inverness, sandy beaches and rugged cliffs await – a dramatic backdrop with plenty of privacy, with water and fields the only ‘neighbour’ to speak of.

Meanwhile, traditional sporting enthusiasts can take their pick from red deer stalking, salmon and trout fishing and game shooting.
A particular feature of the area is the iconic mountains which have been shaped by glacier movements in the last ice age, including Stac Pollaidh, Ben Mor Coigach, Cul Beg, Cul Mor and to the north in Assynt the peaks of Suilven, Canisp, Quinag and Bein Dearg.
The estate is currently on the market with Strutt & Parker for £4,500,000.
