The former home of Dick Marconi, known for co-founding the MLM nutritional supplements brand, sits on 1,225 acres of land and comes with a hefty price tag to match.

Dubbed Marconi Ranch, the 5,000 sq ft mansion is near the city of San Juan Capistrano in California, US, bordering Caspar’s Wilderness Park.

Fittingly, the estate also has an emphasis on nature – serving as a working farm with over 20,000 Eureka lemon trees, 1,000 Pistoia olive trees, and organically farmed grapefruit and tangerine trees.

A private zoo is a major feature of the property, with the menagerie including zebras, elands and tortoises.

Also outside is a spacious pool complex, gorgeously landscaped grounds, a two-acre lake and four ponds.

But the home of Marconi, who died in 2024 at the age of 91, is equally as special inside, boasting four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The main residence is a Tuscan-inspired mansion with vaulted ceilings with tongue-in-groove planks.

The palatial master suite includes a luxurious marble bath and spacious walk-in closets.

Meanwhile, the expansive kitchen includes a lovely marble island.

Additional amenities include an office, art studio, meditation room, wine and cigar lounge, and workout centre.

Separate from the main residence sits a two-bedroom guest house and staff quarters sharing the complex, as reported by Luxury Property News.

Marconi reportedly moved from Indiana to California in the late 1950s with just $500 to his name, but went on to found supplement company D&F Industries and co-found nutrition shake giant Herbalife.

He created the Marconi racing team to support his son’s interest in car racing, eventually becoming involved himself, and at 57 years old, he was the oldest driver to race in the Long Beach Grand Prix.

His spectacular car collection is now the Marconi Automotive Museum and Foundation for Kids.

The listing – which features on Top Ten Real Estate Deals – is held by Lance Doré and Francine Howard at California Outdoor Properties.
