Unsociable house-hunters can now snap up their very own cave system for a whopping £55,000.
A 7.5-acre plot has hit the market with a bizarre bonus feature – a hidden countryside cave network that looks fit for a troll.
The rugged retreat, known as the Frodsham Caves, boasts two separate entrances leading into its rocky depths.

The land, on Manley Road in Frodsham, near Chester, includes a historic sandstone cave system believed to have been hollowed out in the Middle Ages, as reported by Luxury Property News.

The eerie caverns are thought to be one of the few surviving examples of 500-year-old mining sites, with some areas plunging up to 50 metres underground.
Currently sitting on private land, the caves are more often used by cows seeking a bit of shelter than by humans seeking solitude.
Town and Country Property is flogging the unusual plot on 10 December via online auction, with an estimated value of £55,000.

The caves can be reached easily by nearby footpaths, and the sale is being touted as a unique investment opportunity.
A spokesperson for Town and Country Property Auctions said: “7.5 acres or thereabouts of land, including the Frodsham Caves.

“Which are easily accessed by the footpath that runs from Manley Road to Top Road.
“The auctioneers are not aware of any services being connected to the land.
“Prospective bidders are asked to make their own enquiries in this regard.”
